HRC president will step down →
Joe Solmonese, the president of the major gay rights nonprofit Human Rights Campaign, has announced he will step down from his job when his contract ends in March 2012.
Co-chairs of the organization’s board of directors and foundation board said Solmonese will still be involved in the organization, at the very least until a suitable replacement is found. A search committee is in the works.
