The Executive Director reports to the Board of Directors and is a member of the Board. S/he supervises the COO/CFO and, through him, a staff of 11, including the following positions: the Director of Government Affairs, the Director of the Legal Department, the Director of Development & IT Manager, and the Director of Communications.
This is a director-level position within the Division of Student Development responsible for strategic leadership and direction associated with LGBTQ services and support. Though the position will primarily focus on student-centered ambitions, it will also be accountable for the coordination of conversations, programs and the establishment of greater infrastructure across the institution (i.e. for faculty and staff). The Director is also responsible for setting a strategic direction that puts the College on par with peer and aspirants in terms of best practices around LGBTQ work.
The Pride Administrative Temp will work with the Membership Outreach staff under the direction of the Senior Manager of Membership Outreach, helping to facilitate the logistics of HRC’s presence at 180 pride event festivals nationwide. The individual for this position must be extremely detail oriented, with database experience and/or demonstrated aptitude to handle a multitude of details simultaneously.
